Guest Activities

As much, or as little, as you want to do

Many people come here to do nothing at all; they want nothing more than
to relax. And we think that's great.

For those whose idea of "getting away" includes new and pleasurable activities, well, we are all about providing our guests with experiences that bring together all the best that the land has to offer. We are unique in our ability to connect guests with interesting people who are passionate about what they do.

Standard Wine Tasting:
Guests will taste through several current release estate wines, all grown on property and crafted by Winemaker Freddy Arredondo. This is a great activity for people with all levels of wine knowledge, whether you're just being introduced to wine or enjoy exploring new wines.

$6.00 per person, includes logo glass (you will taste through six
to seven wines).
Duration: 30-45 min

“Stump the Chump” Blind Wine Challenge:
You will be presented with four to five varietals cleverly disguised in plain brown bags. Then you will be “challenged” to taste through each of the disguised wines and attempt to identify the varietals.

Pricing:
$10.00 per person
Duration: 30-45 min
Minimum: 4 people

Wine Blending Experience:
Spend an hour in our Winemaker's shoes, tasting and blending your own custom wine blends. You will taste through four varietals in their pure form, then will be given some “tools of the trade” for measuring percentages and blending based on personal preference.

$20.00 per person
Duration: 45-60 min

Barrel Tasting:
Get a sneak-peek of our future releases as they are still aging in barrel. Tasting straight from the barrel and learning about the art behind the wine making process is a truly unique experience. *Includes standard tasting.

Easy on the eye - easy on the environment

Our dramatically sited swimming pool overlooks the Columbia River Gorge vista. An environmentally friendly saline water purification system uses only pure, natural salt, eliminating the need for the manufacture and transport of chlorine chemicals. The mild salt water has much lower chlorine levels than manually-chlorinated water, and is gentler on your skin, hair and eyes.

Columbia River Hike

Take in the view and experience the varied terrain on a hike from the Inn down to the banks of the Columbia River. The river trail takes you there
and back in about 1.5 hours, or try the Waterfall trail loop (allow 3 hours).

We recommend that you start early in the morning during the summer
months to avoid hiking during the hottest part of the day. Bring a hat
and water and wear sturdy shoes.

Mountain Bike Rentals

See the front desk at the Inn for mountain bike rentals. The first hour
