Job Title: Housekeeping Manager
Department: Housekeeping
SUMMARY
Responsible for the coordination and management of all Housekeeping and Laundry activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for the Housekeeping and Laundry staff. Work with the Innkeeper toward a seamless connection between Housekeeping and Front Desk.
- Reports maintenance problems on a continuing basis.
- Maintain a close working relationship with Engineering department to coordinate renovation and repair plans.
- Act without prior approval and with full authority within your scope to ensure that the Inn 's major policies are followed.
- Hire, train, evaluate and discipline all personnel under your direction.
- Conduct staff meetings on a regular basis.
- At all times, demonstrate the highest level of professionalism in dealing with guests, staff, and other managers.
- Prepare any special reports and handle special projects and assignments as directed by the hotel management.
- Ensure accurate reporting and checking of room status on a daily basis.
- Maintains inventory of guest rooms and housekeeping supplies including all month-end inventories.
- Purchases all basic cleaning supplies, linen equipment.
- Maintains lost and found log.
- Inspects rooms for arrivals.
- Monitors and updates payroll hours and reports.
- Effectively manages department within budget established for labor and supplies.
- Prepares yearly operating budget.
Directly supervises approximately 10 employees.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bi-Lingual preferred.

Job Summary
Must present a personable, helpful, and professional image. Balance all daily reports for the Hotel. Run Touch reports for restaurants and balance daily receipts against those reports. Balance credit card batch transfer amounts with hotel end of day reports. Assume Front Desk and Guest service responsibilities during the hours of 11pm and 7am.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Balance all daily reports for the Hotel.
- Post and balance charges in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare restaurant audits to breakdown and balance restaurant figures.
- Runs various reports - hand written and computer.
- Operates computer equipment and reservations system.
- Others duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting operations.
- Knowledge of using computer software.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Must posses the ability to post and balance charges accurately.
- Must be able to maintain a professional manner under stress.
- Must be able to answer questions concerning the Hotel and the property
- Welcomes guests by greeting them; answering questions; responding to requests Registers guests by obtaining or confirming room requirements; verifying pre-registration; assigning room; obtaining information and signatures; issuing door cards
- Establishes credit by verifying credit cards or obtaining cash.
- Directs guests to room by showing location on hotel map or escorting them to their room.
- Conveys information to guests by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, facsimiles, packages, etc.
- Provides information to guests by answering inquiries regarding hotel and other services guests may require, such as entertainment, shopping, business, and travel.
- Maintains records by entering room and guest account data.
- Collects revenue by entering services and charges; computing bill; obtaining payment.

Room Attendant

Job Summary
To consistently maintain the maximum cleanliness, comfort and appeal of all guest rooms in accordance with the standards as set forth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Clean rooms and bathrooms every day in accordance with hotel standards.
- Makes beds. All bed linen is changed on a daily basis unless specified by stay over guests.
- Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
- Dusts furniture.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies and hotel amenities as set for by hotel standards.
- Clean and stock maid cart at the end of each shift, so that it is ready for morning use.
- Remove all debris, room service trays, etc. from corridors when present.
- Bring down to the housekeeping office on a daily basis, any lost and found items from guest rooms.
- Report all maintenance problems and concerns to your supervisor/manager or Chief Engineer.
- Have the ability to interact verbally and effectively with all hotel guests and employees in a polite and positive manner.
Language Skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Executive Chef
Cave B Inn seeking Executive Chef to oversee 60 seat boutique restaurant featuring a menu “inspired by a collaboration of Chef and Winemaker” . Tendrils restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. Our banquet facilities include 4 function rooms/areas, the largest seating 150. Executive Chef will report to Operations Director. Executive Chef will oversee Chef de Cuisine and Banquet Chef , line cooks and utility staff. Candidate will take over an culinary operation with a reputation of outstanding food quality, innovative, and excellent training. 5 years prior experience at luxury hotel, destination resort, or award winning restaurant required.

Tendrils Restaurant Manger
Oversee 60 seat restaurant serving regional cuisine complementing our estate wines. Assisted by another manager, sommelier and banquet lead, you will manage service of breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday Brunch and banquet events up to 150. Culinary operations report separately to our Operations Director. Candidate will have excellent training skills, floor supervision, and ability to motivate high levels of excellence. Three years full service restaurant management experience required.

AM Line Cook
Works Breakfast, Lunch and Sunday Brunch shifts for 60 seat gourmet restaurant. Prepares assorted breakfast “ala carte” entrees, hot luncheon entrees and entrée salads. Sets up work station, maintains par stock of mise en place in a “Theater style” open kitchen arrangement. Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to plate presentations, and ability to communicate with servers for special requests. Minimum 2 years prior experience in full service restaurant working the line.
Lunch & Dinner Server
