Cave B Inn

Sales Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to focus on all Social Event Sales and Corporate Event Sales for Eastern Washington demographic.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1) Prospect new group and wholesale contacts for retreats, meetings and weddings, take inquiries, prospect calls and set up sales calls for potential business. Set up and provide site tours of the
property for clients
2) Work with marketing and property general manager to develop appropriate marketing tools to target these individuals; track e-mail, direct sales, and marketing efforts to these contacts. Coordinate website and brochure revisions and needs with marketing department.
3) Participates in community, professional organizations, representing and promoting the organization through community involvement.
4) Manage database of group client and prospect needs, email/addresses.
5) Maintain strong relationships with inn, other property sales team, and CHI marketing 6)Compile month-end reports on sales goals and activities.

Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience:
1) One - two years group-sales experience in hospitality strongly preferred
2) Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
3) Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
4) Strong negotiation skills and contract knowledge.

Schedule Requirements
This is a Full Time - Exempt (Salaried) position. Monday - Friday, some evening and weekend for networking/industry events may be required

Valet/Bellman
Primarily tasked in providing the hotel guests / patrons the efficient Bell service, to ensure the luggage being delivered collected, stored accurately and promptly all the time. Meanwhile, should be pro-active in practicing the salesmanship to promote the hotel products at any guest contact, for example, when rooming the guest.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conducting the Bell service activities such as luggage service upon guest's arrival and departure, luggage storage, message service fax delivery, parcel and mail hand-over, information service and other related tasks.
  • Opening the door of the car for the guest in a professional manner at the main entrance of the hotel and assisting to unload the luggage if any.
  • Extend warm welcome and appreciation to every guest / patron at any customer approaching by greeting "Welcome to Cave B Inn " or "Welcome back, Mr. / Mrs. / Miss So & So".
  • Rooming the guest in a professional way, which includes addressing the guest by name and extending hotel introduction to guest, etc.
  • Having wealth of knowledge in relating to hotel products, events and promotion, playing the role of salesmanship by doing their effort to sell the hotel at each customer contact, to maximize the hotel revenue.
  • Being responsible for the cleanliness of the counter and the surrounding environment.
  • Being in charge of the Entryway, back patio, & lobby.
  • Maintain professional image while on duty with well grooming hygiene and prescribed uniform.
  • Perform other duties being assigned by the Bell Captain, Guest Services Supervisor, or other concerned hotel officers.
  • Always conserve energy and environment conservation issues in the daily work.
  • Perform all duties, other than the above as requested by hotel policies and/ or his/ her direct supervisor.

Wage Range: $10-11.50/hour

Reservations Agent
We are seeking an experienced Reservations Agent for the Cave B Inn. The candidate we seek must have excellent customer service skills, a pleasant speaking voice, and a sincere desire to provide the highest
level of service to our guests at all times.

Summary

The Reservation Agent will handle all incoming reservation calls with efficiency and professionalism, and will be able to make reservations, handle cancellations, and answer questions on rates, hotel facilities, services and special promotions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for taking reservations and accurately inputting information into the computer system.
  • Answer inquiries of room rates, outlets, and room locations.
  • Interact with Group Rooms Coordinator on bookings.
  • Keep up to date with knowledge of phone system and ACD.
  • Handle all guest's special requests in a professional manner.
  • Post advance deposits and keep accurate records of deposits.
  • Complete all necessary projects by the assigned times. Complete documents as directed
    and to specifications.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
  • Previous reservations and PBX experience a plus.

Room Attendant
Consistently maintain the maximum cleanliness, comfort and appeal of all guest room in accordance with the standard as set forth by the Cave B Inn at Sagecliffe

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:

  • Clean rooms and bathroom every day in accordance of Cave B standards
  • Make beds. All bed linen is changed on a daily basis unless specified by stay over guest
  • Replenishes supplies such as coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, glasses, and writing supplies
  • Renders personal assistance to guests
  • Dusts Furniture
  • Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork
  • Washes window, door panels, and sills
  • Empties waste baskets, separating garbage from items to be recycled
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal area
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies and hotel amenities as set for Cave B Inn standards
  • Clean and stock maid cart at the end of each shift, so that it is ready for morning use
  • Bag and Tag lost & found items and give them to supervisor or the front desk.
  • Report all maintenance issues and concerns to your supervisor.
  • Follow "perfect room" check list. Goal is 95% or higher for cleanliness scores
  • Arrive at work at your assigned time, ready and in the proper uniform (clean and ironed). Punch time clock only when you are ready to begin work
  • Have a working knowledge of cleaning products and materials in accordance with OSHA and WISHA regulation and hotel safety guidelines
  • Have the ability to interact with verbally and effectively with all hotel guest, vendors and employees in a polite and positive manner.
  • Any other task as assigned by Supervisor or Rooms Manager

Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic host/hostess for Tendril's, the fine dining restaurant
at Cave B Inn & Spa. The candidate we seek must have excellent customer service skills, experience working in a fine dining environment, and a sincere desire to provide the highest level of service to our guests at all times.

Summary

The host or hostess will provide Tendril's guests/patrons with exceptional and efficient hosting service.
The host or hostess must also be pro-active in providing information about and promoting the services
and amenities of the Inn and Spa at all points of guest contact. The position may also occasionally
involve serving food to the guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Seat guests according to reservations and walk-ins.
  • Answer telephone promptly and professionally.
  • Manage waiting list and seating chart when necessary
  • Check coats, hats, packages and other materials into a secure area
  • Take accurate reservations and seek management approval when needed

Restaurant Server

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Server for Tendril's, the fine dining restaurant at

in a fine dining environment, and a sincere desire to provide the highest level of service to our guests
at all times.

Summary

Our Servers will provide Tendril's guests/patrons with exceptional and efficient dining service, delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, efficient and accurate manner. Our Servers must also be pro-active in providing information about and promoting the services and amenities of the Inn and
Spa at all points of guest contact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, beverages, and service
  • Receive and take guest orders and process in a timely manner through whatever systems are currently used in the restaurant
  • Will be knowledgeable about the wine list, wines-by-the-glass, liquor, ports and cocktails
  • Relay order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars
  • Open bottled wine for guests
  • Observe guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when
    meal has been completed
  • Total bill in a timely manner and accepts payment
  • Complete posted sidework and opening/closing duties

Must have a current Food Handler's Health Card and Class 13/12 Liquor Server Permit.

Server Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Server Assistant for Tendril's, the fine dining restaurant
at Cave B Inn & Spa. The candidate we seek must have excellent customer service skills and experience working in a fine dining environment would be preferred. The candidate must also possess a sincere desire to provide the highest level of service to our guests at all times.

Summary

Our Server Assistants help to provide Tendril's guests/patrons with exceptional and efficient dining service by assisting the lead servers in delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, efficient,
and accurate manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Sets tables with silverware, glassware and linens
  • Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room
  • Carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen
  • Wipes table tops and chairs with damp cloth
  • Serves ice water to patrons
  • Completes sidework responsibilities as assigned
  • Able to work a variety of shifts

Food & Beverage Permits

Must have a current Food Handler's Health Card and Class 13/12 Liquor Server Permit.

Bartender

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bartender for Tendril's, the fine dining restaurant at
Cave B Inn & Spa. The candidate we seek must have excellent customer service skills, experience working
in a fine dining environment, and a sincere desire to provide the highest level of service to
our guests at all times.

Summary

The Bartender will provide the hotel guests/patrons with exceptional and efficient bartending service, meaning they will prepare drinks for guests and serve them in a professional and courteous manner. Drinks will also be prepared for the food servers upon request. The position may also occasionally involve serving food to the guests. The Bartender must also be pro-active in providing information about and promoting the services and amenities of the Inn and Spa at all points of guest contact.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Greet and serve guests at the bar
  • Pour drinks, using standard pour according to specifications
  • Serve drinks to guests, along with filling orders for the Food and Cocktail Servers - Write drink orders
  • Serves alcohol responsibly and in compliance with Washington State Liquor Laws
  • Handle cash and credit transactions
  • Clean shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders and soda guns
  • Communicate with support crew and management
  • Serve food if requested
